Richard S Meredith
Richard S Meredith is a professional Singer, Performer, Teacher and Director.
Richard successfully auditioned for a full scholarship and completed a 3 year Musical Theatre course under the guidance of Trinity College, London. Richard continued to further his training with London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) along with a multitude of other training courses. After completing Theatre school, he released a single in 2008, entitled “I Wanna Take Care of You.” Following his single release, Richard played one of the lead roles in the world premiere of “80’s Mania” at The Alexandra Theatre, in Birmingham.
Richard has visited all avenues of the industry, gaining experience in all aspects. He has extensive commercial experience, working regularly on programmes such as; Doctors, Casualty and Hustle. Richard toured Europe throughout 2009-2010 with the critically acclaimed “We Will Rock You,” playing the role of Brit. After this tour he performed as lead vocalist in The Best Of Musicals, in France. His live performance experience has led him to grace the stages of the prestigious venues throughout London’s West End.
In 2011, after Richard’s successful touring, he invested in establishing a premises for his stage academy, teaching both children and adults in all three disciplines; Singing, Acting and Dance – this marked the birth of RSM Stage Academy.
The academy has gone from strength to strength, gaining performance credits at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, The Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s Theatre and performed at the iconic Indigo at The O2 in London in 2017.
Gaining CDMT Recognised School status and developing such a high standard has set RSM Stage Academy as one of the leading performing arts schools in the UK.
The beginning of 2016, saw RSM Stage Academy relocate and open its doors to the new state-of-the-art-facility. Continuing to excel, the Academy has an ever-growing array of exciting opportunities available. Richard’s vision shall continue to develop, nurturing the confidence, personal development and outlook of all students, whilst carrying them forward into a bright, prosperous future in the performing arts industry.
Richard has gained valuable directing and producing experience throughout the entirety of his training and career to date. This lead to the creation of outstanding performances of ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘Hairspray’ to mark the launch of a local theatre.
Richard’s exceptional experiences, skills and talent have come to be highly respected by professionals throughout the industry. He has recently been one of the judges for ‘That’s Showbiz,’ a nationally recognised competition, which showcases some of the UK’s best in dance and performing arts talent. Along with his professional work outside the academy, Richard has been busy in the recording studio working on new, original material, under the artist name RICHS and 2017 saw the release of his first official single, “See My Vision”. Richard is now working with new producers and getting ready for the release of his next single coming later on in the year..

Drama Teacher and Performance Coach
Deborah studied at Loughborough University, graduating in 2001 with a B.A. Honours Degree in Drama and Theatre Arts. Since then, she has performed with numerous theatre companies, such as Deep Impact Theatre and Project 300. Debbie is currently a Trustee and board member, for Maverick Theatre Company.
She also worked as an Entertainer as part of a Dance Troupe. She is currently a writer/performer for the Birmingham based comedy group ‘In the Pelican’s Mouth’. Debbie also writes in her spare time.
Deborah has extensive teaching and directing experience and has been with RSM Stage Academy for over 6 years, teaching drama and The Actors Workshop. She has worked as a Drama workshop leader, for Great George’s Community Cultural Project and Maverick Youth Academy. Debbie has in the past, prepared students for LAMDA examinations in Acting, Speech and Communication and achieved exceptionally high results.
Deborah will be working closely with students, especially The Actors Workshop, in preparation for their Trinity College London exams, in Acting, Speech and Drama.
Deborah is currently teaching drama in secondary and higher level education, where she is excelling and producing work that is being used for television and theatre.

Drama Teacher and Performance Coach
Heidi graduated from Worcester University in 2008, with a 2:1 BA Honours Degree in Drama and Performance Studies. She then continued her studies on to The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (L.I.P.A) where she successfully obtained a Master’s degree in Contemporary Theatre Practice. In 2012, Heidi obtained a distinction in her grade 8, Musical Theatre, from the London College of Music.
Heidi has been working as a freelance drama and dance artist, for over ten years. During this time, has been involved in numerous projects, working with; Shropshire Council, Worcester Action for Youth, Dudley Performing Arts, Stagecoach Stourbridge, Sandwell Council, Jigsaw Youth Theatre and Urban Voice.
Heidi has performed from an early age and has performance credits include; Blousey in “Bugsy Malone,” Serena in ‘Fame’, Louise in ‘Road’, Felicia Gabriel in ‘The Witches of Eastwick’ and Addaperle in ‘The Wiz’. Alongside her teaching commitments, Heidi is still involved in performing and has her own theatre company, ‘Happy Kampers’, which toured last summer. She is also a performer for ‘The Theatre Collective’, a corporate entertainment company.
Heidi is a dedicated practitioner, who is committed to keeping the work she produces, fresh and most importantly fun! Heidi understands first-hand, how valuable good quality performance training is to young people.

Dance Teacher and Choreographer
Tanya has been a professional dancer since the age of 16; she has been a dancer for many years performing at high profile music artist’s concerts, club nights, music videos, award shows and has performed in countries such as America, Kenya, Denmark and Dubai.
As a choreographer her cutting edge choreography has lead to her teaching master classes in France, Italy, Spain and Greece. Tanya regularly appears on the judging panel of nationwide music competitions Live and Unsigned and Open Mic UK.
In 2009 Tanya founded Fierce Productionz, the all female dance agency that supplies professional dancers and choreographers to the commercial and corporate industry. Fierce Productionz currently represents dancers who have performed for Katy Perry, Pink, Whitney Houston and Pixie Lott and supplies dancers and choreography for Award Shows, Music Videos, Tours and Musical Theatre touring shows.

Kalvin Lamey trained at Bodyworks Stage School, in Cambridge and Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, London. Professional credits include: Thriller Live The Musical, backing dancer for The Sugababes, Steps, Kanye West, Tinchy Stryder, Duffy, Olly Murs, The Pussy Cat Dolls and Jedward, to name a few.
Kalvin was also a contestant on one of the first prime time dance shows, BBC1 Dance X, working with industry choreographers from across the world, whilst being mentored by Strictly Come Dancing judges, Arlene Phillips and Bruno Tonioli
In 2010, Kalvin was a contestant on ITVs X Factor, in boy band FYD with Simon Cowell as his mentor, where he was successful in making it through to the live shows
Kalvin performs alongside London finest session players and
most exciting upcoming singers ‘Salut’ performing for corporate events, including: HSBC, BBC, Million Pound Weddings, travelling to Europe, Dubai and USA.
Kalvin has taught in schools across London and the Midlands, for almost 10 years, in a range of settings and for different projects. These include working with under-privileged children in primary schools, to improve access to the arts and projects devised to improve fitness and tackle obesity in young people. Kalvin delivered assessed units on GCSE and BTEC Dance, in secondary schools and colleges. Also, working with local dance schools and Youth theatres to improve the life chances of their young people to give them professional experiences to support their career progression
Kalvin has had the opportunity to work with WBOS Youth (West Bromwich) as part of the creative team for their production of ‘Cats’, which won numerous awards, including Best Production. Kalvin was also choreographer for the UK Amateur Premiere of ‘Memphis The Musical’ in Wolverhampton, which was attended by local leading lady, Beverley Knight and received high praise from the critics.

Lisa Jane Jones
Tap/Ballet Teacher & Choreoghaper
Lisa is a fully qualified dance teacher, with the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD), where she holds associate and membership qualifications in ballet, tap and modern dance. She obtained these at the Theresa Kilroy Stage School, based in Wolverhampton, where she began dancing at the age of 5.
In 1999, whilst travelling around Canada, she joined Parksville Ballet School, based in Parksville, British Columbia, Canada and studied Cicchetti ballet, tap and jazz. Lisa performed in their production of “The Wizard of Oz.” She has performed in many shows at theatres, including Wolverhampton Grand Theatre and London’s Haymarket Theatre, where she took part in Young Performers 2001. She danced in a professional dance troupe, when she was younger and performed alongside Take That. She has performed in many musicals and as a cabaret dancer for an Elvis Presley Tribute Act, to raise money for Breast Cancer. She performed in a number of shows with RSM Stage Academy, at the Arena Theatre and was part of their showcase in 2015 to raise money for Cancer Research UK, at The Mill Theatre, in Sedgley.
Her vast choreography and teaching experience include, choreographer for Wolverhampton Youth Music Theatre (WYMT) company production of “Honk.” Teaching a summer school at Telford Ice Rink, for a group of ice dancers, off the ice. Lisa has also worked with Sandwell Education Authority, as part of the Triple S project, which brought dance classes to children in Years 4,5 and 6, in underprivileged schools.
Lisa has worked as a Musical Theatre Teacher at the Pauline Quirke Academy, in Brewood. Teaching children aged between 6 – 18 a range of Musical Theatre classes, including choreography, the children took part in 2 shows a year. Lisa’s choreography was listed as, “Some of the best choreography ever done at a PQA.”
Lisa has gained credits, as a dance teacher at St Jude’s Junior School, in Wolverhampton, and as a choreographer, at RSM Stage Academy, working closely with Richard at Aldersley High School, in March 2014, as choreographer for “We Will Rock You”.
She has worked as a Dance Teacher at Chase Grammar School, in Cannock, teaching students aged 3 to 16, a mixture of ballet, tap and Musical Theatre. Lisa has also taught cheerleading at a Brownie Group, in Wombourne and worked as choreographer for KM Vocals, for their annual showcases, alongside Karla Milton.
Lisa is currently employed as Tap and Ballet teacher at RSM Stage Academy and as Classical Dance Teacher, at Amplify Performing Arts School, in Aldridge, teaching children, ballet and tap and getting them through IDTA exams. Choreographing their performances, in a yearly showcase.

Early Years Teacher & Acro Coach
Ellie has been dancing since the age of 3; having experience in a variety of different styles including: Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Acrobatics and Modern. Her favourite style of dance is Acrobatics; which she has gained honours in all exams taken.
In 2017, she started cheerleading, which took her all over the world, competing against some of the World’s Best. Ellie competed with her team for two seasons; achieving one 1st place, two 2nd places and two 3rd places. During the first season, Ellie was the captain for her senior team, gaining valuable experience, supporting her team mates, as well as the coaches.
Ellie also has a great passion for animals, volunteering at the local dog groomer and taking time out of her work week, to care for and pamper the dogs, which is a fantastic way to give back to the local community.

Amiee Louise Lyons
Business Administration & Photographer
Amiee started her career as a children’s entertainer for a holiday resort, in Weston-Super-Mare, at the age of 18. She has also had various jobs in retail, administration and customer service, gaining extensive experience in all three, as well as a qualification in Business Administration.
At the age of 22, Amiee went back to college to train as a professional photographer. After graduating her three year course, in 2011, she went on to own her own business with her friend and business partner. Together, they formed A* Photography. Specialising in photographing weddings, individual shoots, christenings, parties, events, workshops and children and baby photography.
In 2018, Amiee became a published author and has written a number of novels, published with independent publisher, ‘Scarlet Lantern’. All four of her books, which are part of the ‘Tattoos and Tears’ series and available in ebook and paperback format on Amazon. Amiee likes to showcase her creative flair at the Academy, alongside her Photography skills.
Amiee is privileged to have been part of the RSM team for three years and looks forward to continuing her work at the academy.

Guest Choreographer and Dance Teacher
Graeme began his training at LIPA - The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, Paul McCartney’s Fame School. He furthered his training in Musical Theatre at Liverpool Theatre School where he graduated with a Distinction.
Graeme began working for Celebrity Cruise Lines new production company as Assistant Choreographer for their bi-annual auditions in London and is now the London Casting Coordinator for the company.
He also works as Choreographer for Pantomime productions within the UK. Graeme works in various distinguished full time dance and theatre schools across the UK, training aspiring students to succeed in show business.
During his time as a performer, Graeme was fortunate to travel the world on luxury cruise lines performing in first class production shows. He worked for Costa Cruises, Carnival Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and the prestigious, world famous company - Cunard Line.
Graeme was also fortunate to be a part of the celebrations for the Olympics London 2012.

Gaz has worked across the industry for many years as a dancer. His Commercial Credits include working with Joe McElderry, X Factor, Britain's Got Talent, Pixie Lott, Children In Need, Take That, Plan B, Brit Awards, Duffy, Popstar to Operastar, Lynx Commercial, Paul O'Grady Show, Mamma Mia (Film), London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, The Voice, Kelly Clarkson, Olly Murs, Iceland Christmas Commercial and other credits.
Gaz has worked extensively in fashion shows which include Adidas, Reebok, Speedo, Wella, Britain's Next Top Model and The Clothes Show Live (assistant choreographer). Also assistant choreographer for Gareth Walker on L'Oreal hair shows and assistant choreographer for Natricia Bernard.
His past experience in the West End on shows like Boogie Nights, Starlight Express, Never Forget also cruise liners such as the Royal Caribbean combined with his commercial credits give his choreography depth and variety.
Gaz was delighted to be asked to guest teach at RSM Stage Academy and is looking forward to many more classes and workshops here at the academy.
Jon Ford Smith
Guest Creative Director & Choreographer
As a performer Jon has appeared in many prestigious venues such as London's Coliseum Theatre, The O2 Arena and Theater Des Westens in Berlin. He has featured on TV shows such as Top of the Pops, The Late Late Show, RTL Chart Show and GMTV, also not to mention numerous award shows such as The Brit Awards and The Irish Music Awards. He has worked with artists such as Lily Allen, Alesha Dixon and Blazin' Squad and has performed in the German production of “We Will Rock You” in Cologne, Stuttgart and Berlin.
Since graduating from Performer's College in 2006, Jon has worked all over the world.
His career has ranged from music videos to musical theatre, from T.V. shows to world arena tours. Along the way, Jon has been fortunate enough to work with, and learn from, some of the best creative minds in the business such as Phil Wm. McKinley, Bruno Tonioli, Liam Steel, Richie Jackson, Brian Rogers, Hakeem Onibudo, Chris Baldock, Rick Sordelet, Joacim Hedman, John Scott and Blanca Li.
Jon's work as a choreographer has included music videos in Los Angeles, Berlin and Oslo, original shows for Color Line cruise ships, musicals such as Jason Robert Brown's 'Songs For A New World' and corporate clients such as Sky, Esporta/Virgin Active, Diesel and Toyota, among others.
He is also the founder and director of Alpha Elite Workshops, providing workshops of the highest quality across the U.K. and Europe
